Sprout is our hopeful foundation female Cardigan Welsh Corgi. She comes from Sherri Hurst of XIV Karat. Her pedigree is from a beautiful line breeding that includes Libby, the winningest Cardigan of all time, as well as dogs from Aubrey and Windmill. We are so grateful to start with such a fabulous background, and we are so thankful to Sherri for her support ever since we met at Basil’s puppy evaluation.

Though she is named after the Hufflepuff herbology professor from Harry Potter, this girl would certainly be sorted as a Slytherin. Don’t mistake that for something bad, however. She might be cunning and clever, but she’s still an affectionate and happy girl. She just doesn’t mind going after what she wants, no matter what the cost.

We are having so much fun with her, and we can’t wait to start her show career in May 2024. We plan to try her in a few different kennel clubs for fun, and we’ll get some back end titles as she becomes old enough.
